FAQ

FAQS
WHEN CAN WE EXPECT TO HAVE OUR PHOTOS BACK AFTER OUR WEDDING OR SESSION?
For weddings, I will have a gallery ready two weeks after your wedding with a few sneak peeks and all or most of your originals, depending on the length of your wedding. You will have all of the originals in your gallery by three weeks.
For portrait sessions you can expect anywhere from three days to two weeks, depending on what we have discussed previously, and based on the time of year. For commercial sessions, if I am choosing the best images for editing, I can get these images back to you within two to three days but if you are choosing, about 1-2 weeks depending on time of year.
WHERE ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE PLACES TO SHOOT?
I frequently shoot at Mormon Row Historic District just outside of Jackson, Wyoming. Definitely one of my all time favorite spots. I also like to shoot at the Greenbelt and downtown Idaho Falls. The gardens at BYU-Idaho are also one of my favorite local places to shoot!
WHAT COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE DO YOU USE?
I have two very fast Apple computers. I highly recommend them for their color accuracy and performance. Both of them have upgraded 16 GB memory chips. I like my computers as fast as possible for running multiple high-performing editing programs at once.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
Yes! I am happy to give a 10% military discount. I offer mini-sessions occasionally too- usually for the holidays!
WHAT IS THE PRINT RELEASE?
The print release is an optional extra you can purchase if you would like to print your photos at a lab of your choice, outside of my professional printing company. I recommend printing through me though because I have my monitors calibrated to their printers- you won't get the same consistency and quality elsewhere. But I can recommend some labs that produce consistent high-quality prints.
WHAT'S IN YOUR CAMERA BAG?
Two DSLR's
Multiple L-series Canon lenses
One Sigma Art lens
