One thing that I love to do is to help my clients know exactly what to expect at upcoming weddings, portrait photography sessions, and commercial photography sessions.
In most situations, clients will book their wedding with me, or their portrait session with me and then order prints, albums, and other photographic products to follow once they have received their images. Alternatively they may order the print release, but I do recommend ordering prints directly through my chosen lab because I can trust their print quality and consistency. Printing your photos is one of the most exciting parts of the entire photography experience! Having a tangible product is so nice and so important following your photography session or wedding. Whether it be for the office, on the walls of your home, or sitting on your coffee table- printed photos of your family and spouse are wonderful momentos to refocus and remind you of why life can be so wonderful sometimes!
My clients can expect to spend anywhere from $300 to $1500 for portrait sessions, especially when printing their photos, and from $1300 up to $5000 for weddings. I offer three main packages for weddings which include a few photographic products, and portrait sessions. For portrait and commercial sessions only; my clients book upfront online and then order prints or the print release following their session, and I am happy to help them choose what to order and how to place it in their home, workplace, or business.

To help you understand photographers, we charge a one-time session fee and then expect clients to order prints, announcements, holiday cards, albums, wall art, and USB’s. Photographers including myself work very hard to deliver a professional and high quality finished product to you. This is a lot of work and a huge technological investment- it entails having professional-level equipment that we know how to use, skill and expensive state-of-the-art software to edit the photos, a lot of time spent culling through photos and editing said photos, and then delivering those photos to you digitally, online through a piad service, for web-sized download and online ordering for printing your pictures. I also love to meet or chat with my clients after their session (upon request) to help them choose the right sizes and formats for their homes. That is why I offer a free in-home ordering session to my clients, bookable online.
From start to finish your photography experience can be wonderful, fun, and exciting! Sometimes we get hung up on the little things; like appearance and things being perfect… but in the end what you have are the memories, special moments frozen in time, and something to pass down to your children and grandchildren. Family is one of the greatest gifts we have been given! That is why I love shooting weddings and portrait sessions. Commercial sessions are fun for me because I love to help local business owners showcase their best work and improve and grow their businesses!
